Scientific Program
The 2nd World Waterfowl Conference will be divided into eight scientific sessions. These main sessions will be organized based on received papers according to the following sections: 1. Genetics and breeding 2. Nutrition and feeding 3. Reproduction 4. Production systems, housing and pollution control
5. Ethology and welfare
6. Diseases of waterfowl
7. Composition and product quality
8. Product marketing

Official Languages
Written contribuions, oral presentations and poster presentations: The official language of the conference is English.

Deadlines
30th September 2002 Submission of abstracts (maximum 300 words). 30th September 2002 Papers acceptance and notifying accepted authors by this date. 30th September 2002 Full paper submission and presenting authors' registration.

Registration and Payment
All participants and accompanying persons who wish to attend the scientific sessions, accompanying persons program and social events are requested to fill out the registration form. We urge you to register early to avoid the "bottle necks" during the conference. Each delegate must fill in a separate form. Registration fees are accepted via ordinary, express mail or via fax. After 30th September 2002 registration is only site at the conference in Alexandria, Egypt. If you need special assistance please contact the conference secretariat.
Registration fee for participants will include: 1. Conference kit and proceedings (book of abstract with full papers). 2. Attendance of all scientific sessions and industry exhibits.
3. Coffee breaks in the mornings and afternoons.
4. Welcome get-together party at arrivals.
5. Poster sessions.
6. Opening ceremony.
7. Farewell party.
The registration fee for accompanying person will include:
1. Welcome get-together party at arrivals.
2. Poster sessions.
3. A guided walking tour through the historic city of Alexandria on April 7 2003 (Tour 1).
Checks or bank drafts should be in US$ payable to the conference coordinator and mailed to him on the above-mentioned address. Cash payment would also be accepted. "Do not send money via mail". The conference is not responsible if it gets lost in the mail.
