How to get to Alexandria
You can get to Alexandria through one of many routes as follows:
1. By air, either to:
Alexandria International Airport, or
Cairo International Airport, and from Cairo to Alexandria you might use one of the following:
***Domestic airlines
***Private cars "rental", buses or limousines, in which you might drive into the desert road or the agricultural road, which are both paved roads. The destination between Cairo and Alexandria is about 220km, and takes about 2.5 to 3 hours driving time.
***Railways; as there is a railway network available that connects the city of Alexandria with all other governorates of Egypt.
2. Maritime transportation.

The Trip to Cairo-Luxor
Once the ancient Egyptian city of Thebes, modern day Luxor is probably the world's most impressive archeological site, covering an area of over 100km. On the banks of the majestic Nile, it sometimes seems that nothing has changed since the days of the Pharaohs. The most beautiful temples, all dedicated to the ancient dynasties, stretch along both sides of the sacred river. *April 9, traveling from Alexandria to Cairo by air-conditioned buses with a quick outlook of the Pyramids on the way.
*April 9, dinner in Cairo on a Nile cruise & overnight in Cairo.
*April 10, early morning flight to Luxor. Tour in Luxor visiting Karnak & Luxor temples. Lunch at oriental restaurant.
*April 10, attend the Sound & Light show (Karnak temple) & dinner and overnight in Luxor.
*April 11, day tour visiting the West Bank Area (Valley of the Kings & Queens, Necropolis of Thebes, Colossi of Memnon) - including lunch.
*April 11, free time for shopping. Evening flight to Cairo dinner & overnight at hotel.
*April 12, fly from Cairo to homeland.

a. 240 US$/person in double occupancy. A supplement of 60 US$ will be applied for single occupation.
